Mr. Jackson Bent Responds to Allegations: “I Was Duly Appointed and Will Defend My Position”

Mr. Jackson Bent has responded to the recent developments regarding his leadership status within the National Freight Haulers Association of Nigeria (NFHA), stating that he was duly appointed and not elected, and that he is fully prepared to defend his position.

He also reminded the Board of Trustees and all stakeholders that he is the founder of the association and led it when no one else came forward. According to him, it was under his authority and guidance that the current constitution was appropriated.

Mr. Bent stated that he believes all the current attacks and allegations of defamation being leveled against him are orchestrated by some conniving members, who he alleges are attempting to assume his position by rallying cohorts within the association to work against him.

He further emphasized that as a retired General in the Nigerian Army, he will not be intimidated, and he intends to tackle all forms of defamation and sabotage through legal means.
